Who can play

You must be 18 or over to use Slow Burn, and so must the person you play with. Both players must want to play. The game asks you to confirm this before it starts.

Play with respect

• Every card can be passed, by either player, with no reason needed.
• Nobody should pressure anyone to answer, to perform a dare, or to play at all.
• If someone says stop, stop.
• Do not use the game to harass, threaten or shame anyone.
• Do not record, copy or share another person’s answers or dares without their clear agreement.

What the game is

Slow Burn is entertainment. The cards are prompts, not advice, and not a measure of anyone’s feelings. You are responsible for your own choices and boundaries. If you invent a dare of your own, keep it safe, legal and agreed by both of you.

Online rooms

Rooms are temporary and are deleted when they are no longer in use. We may limit how many rooms or tries one visitor can make, and we may block use that abuses the service.

No guarantees

Slow Burn is provided as it is, free of charge. We do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from using it.

Using the content

You are welcome to play, to share links to the site, and to quote a few cards. Please do not copy the whole set of cards or the design.
